I know I have not updated on anything for the past 2 years.
(I guess I just really liked having the Journal Skin on my profile page.)


OK, as you may have noticed, I have recently become a big fan of a manga series.
It's called "Song of the Wind and Trees" (or "Kaze to Ki no Uta" in Japanese and "Le Poème Du Vent Et Des Arbres" in French).


What attracted me to this work was the compelling yet tragic story line and the lovely detailed artwork.
The Mangaka is Keiko Takemiya. The story is set in France in the late 19th century at an all-boys' boarding school and it centres on two boys named Serge Barttour and Gilbert Cocteau.

The manga was actually created somewhere between the 1970s and 1980s, so its pretty old but it is considered as one of the very first classics to touch on 'shounen-ai'.
Other themes include homophobia, paedophilia and drug abuse.


I highly recommend you to read the manga. You could read it online on MangaFox though it has yet to complete uploading the remaining chapters.

There was an OVA made based on the story and you could watch it on YouTube (in parts).

Anyway I am still schooling and pursuing my diploma (basically, about theatre management and design).

I am currently at my second year and into the second semester.


So, for now, I may still upload art some time soon though I am very busy again.
I even got an art request last month - I already did the line art but have yet to get it coloured.
